Drody tłumacze. Dostałam propozycję przetłumaczenia utworu "Czerwony Autobus" do wydawnictwa angielskiego. Dzisiaj spróbowałam, ale potrzebuję pomocy z dopracowaniem (jeśli istnieje przetłumaczenie słowa "kosynierzy" na angielski, to ja jestem egipską małpą)
THE CRIMSON AUTOBUS
Speed through Polish wilderness
potholes thickets mud streets
look back and there is nothingness
mourning and ignonimy
Look forth there without end
goals tempt in light blue mists
we all want to be there
who does not want – he will must
In this crimson autobus!
In this crimson autobus~!
In this crimson autobus time flies past!
There stands the youngster Jew
the nose tells Jew or not Jew
it's as if he's embarrased
that despite it all he lives
granny with baskets of eggs
already whispers to ears
„the whole country knows that
Jews are the communists
So what are you waiting for!
So what are you waiting for!
So what are you waiting for! Beat him up!”
An intelligent face
that listens 'stead of speaking
body covered by his coat
which measurements match his gun
and managerial scheming
leading the crimson bus
A headless puppet wielding -
Generalissimus!
These two have made reiseroute
These two have made reiseroute
These two have made reiseroute – work and play.
behind the worker priest
further soldiers with scythes
someone prays whilst swearing
another swears but believes
Proletarian leader
begins to catch on slowly
makes a simple gesture
bends his arm at the elbow
an avalanche wont move Him
an avalanche wont move Him
an avalanche wont move him! He's so strong!
At the back an old man
embraced a right-wing lassie
malicious deil waits
In hopes to catch a soulie
a small row of specters
hanging over banisters
bring poison! and vexation!
Just forth Poland in rainbows!
Just forth Poland in rainbows!
Just forth Poland in rainbows – leave this place!
